David Villanueva Jr., the second of six children, grew up in Whittier, CA. He is a freelance writer currently living in sunny Redondo Beach, CA.

His first children’s picture book Bella, The
Crooked Hat Witch, was published under his pen name Jordan Serafin in January 2005.

Caleb’s Birthday Wish is his second
children’s picture book to be published. He
has written for various publications and is
currently working on a children’s novel.
